Permanent upgrades are upgrades that carry over between missions.
There are multiple types of permanent upgrades (in no specific order):
  • Speed + : the speed of your starship is increased
  • Pickup Range + : the range for picking up nearby items is increased
  • Max Health + : the health of your starship is increased
  • XP Value + : your experience value goes up more quickly
  • Coin Value + : the coin drop in the next sector is increased
  • Bullet Size + : your weapon's bullet size is increased
  • Bullet Speed: your weapon's bullet speed is increased
  • Unlock Weapon: a new weapon is unlocked
  • Unlock Weapon Evolution: a newer version of the weapon is unlocked
  • Unlock Item / Feature: An item/ feature you obtained is unlocked
  • Damage + : your weapon damage is increased
  • Fire Rate + : you weapon fire rate is increased
  • Bullet Pierce + : your bullet pierce damage is increased
To obtain any of these upgrades, you'll need to first max out your current upgrades with coins in the Hangar.
