When the stockpile/deck flashes after tapping the HINT button, there are currently no playable cards on the tableau (the piles on the board), but there is a card waiting in the stock (deck).
If a card flashes after tapping the HINT button, the card is being pointed out as the next recommended action, which can be moved to the following:
A different tableau column
To the foundation (top piles),
Or reveal a hidden card underneath by making space.
If the hint system doesn’t flash the deck and doesn't suggest any moves, it usually means:
There are no more moves.
You’ve hit a dead end and may need to undo your past moves and try again or start a new game.
