If you're on an iOS device and the Spider app is crashing, freezing, or unable to open after a recent update, it's likely due to your device being on an older iOS version that is unsupported by the app. 

The Spider Solitaire app versions over 1.7.39 are able to run on iOS 13 and up.

You can try updating the iOS on your device by going to your Apple Settings > General > Software Update.
